The last few days have been dark and rainy. That combined with loads of work have meant little time for birding.
But a Barred Warbler has been visiting our garden and the Rose-coloured Starling likewise.
An hour at Viðareiði produced another four Barred Warblers and the normal selection of Blackcaps, Garden Warblers, Lesser Whitethroats and Willow Warblers – and a single Collared Dove.
A few Slavonian Grebes were at Toftavatn and about 10 Great Northern Divers were present around Eysturoy the other day. And a stunning Red-throated Diver was Millum Fjarða.
The wind has been good for the last two days, but the weather has been rainy. So I guess there are a lot of birds out there waiting to be found 🙂
