Adult Kumlien's Gull with Icelanders and Herring Gull

Yesterday I mentioned that the invasion might be ending. Well, today there were 60 Iceland Gulls and 3 Kumlien’s Gulls in Klaksvík. So Rodmund is probably right – the birds might just follow the ships and come in every once and then. So there is still hope of some more obscure arctic gulls in the days and months to come.

Today about 20 of the 60 birds present were 1w. Seen up close the primaries look spectular. Is this one a Kumlien's Gull?

Some birds really start to look weird.

An ultra brownie... still a riddle which is hard to crack.

Well aware of the problematics regarding this topic Silas, I would identify bird nr 2 (wing) as glaucoides. There seems to be an ever so slight contrast between inner and outer primaries and this together with the lack of obvious dark outer webs on the outers suggest glaucoides.
