Due to heavy discussions on netfugl.dk I’ve decided to make summaries in english on my blog. Probably no anglo-saxen birders ever read it, but I prefere not to appear obnoxious and therefore I will try to type a few english letters. Back to the birds: 10 days of northerlies have brought 7 barred warblers, one common rosefinch, one bar-tailed godwit, 150+ knots and 3 ruffs. Not bad taking the weather into consideration. The most awesome part were 3 barred warblers and the common rosefinch within 500 yards and two barred and the finch in the same bush! When such not-ideal weather systems show conductive to bring these birds what will the southeasterlies that lie ahead contain? The first sir lanceolot for the Faroes? Or maybe a good hippo or a bunting of some kind?
OK, det er nok. Der kommer måske gode fugle i denne uge. Heldigvis er Lars Witting heroppe. Så der er 33 % forøgelse på birderfronten. Det kan kun blive godt!
